Christine Widdowson
Holistic Healing Expert: Clinical Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy
I am a retired Family Practitioner from UK healthcare with 20 years of experience working in one of the most deprived areas of London. Now, I specialise in a holistic approach to lifestyle, mental health, health, and relationships.
My own journey: Facing challenges with ill health, trauma, relationship difficulties, and poor lifestyle choices has profoundly shaped my practice and my offerings to my clients.
The most poignant part of my journey was receiving treatment with different professionals and the profound impact of how I felt during these interactions. This quote has always stuck with me: "People may not remember you for what you did or said, but they will always remember you for how you made them feel." This connection was crucial to my healing, and I bring this same ethos into my sessions. Testimonials confirm that my clients feel this deep connection when working with me. I have built a strong rapport with all my clients.
My personal development journey through medical practice, specialist metal health, family mediation, cognitive behaviour therapy, clinical psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and life coaching has been one of self-discovery, self-awareness, and self-acceptance.
My own daily practices, was a changing point in my life when I started and continue today, consist of early rise for, meditation, yoga and breath-work, and continual study of yoga sutras, professional & personal development gives me clarity, insight into the deeper meaning of life with my belief in a high power. Give me the resilience to deal with any challenges I have in my life. Life is always changing, and we need the tools to deal with and accept the changes. I too still have support.
It also keeps my health at an optimum and grounds me every day. Starting it is “A Great Day” and how “I am Grateful “It change my life forever.
Early in my career, I realised that my teachings could alleviate stress, anxiety, anger, unhealthy lifestyles, and long-term mental health issues. Combining my professional background with these holistic practices has been transformative for me. I am now passionate about helping others, serving them to achieve the same balance and insight.
I navigate life with a cheerful, positive attitude and am dedicated to serving people as they overcome personal challenges and improve their lifestyles.
